A couple of months ago, Gerald and I had the opportunity to photograph a private event at The Ruins in Seattle. Even though our client’s beautiful faces are protected, we were given permission to share some of the amazing detail images from that night with you. If you’ve never been to the Ruins, it’s a private dining club in downtown Seattle with one of the most interesting interiors I’ve ever seen! The entire space is a maze of rooms, ranging from the warm and inviting Chocolate Room to the elegant Dining Room to the beautifully hand-painted murals in their Ballroom. There’s also a quaint little garden entrance that leads into a hallway where a life-size painted horse stands to greet you (I also found a gorgeously painted life-size elephant hidden away in a storage room). The Ruin’s service was impeccable and no detail was left undone. It was truly one of the most fun venues we’ve ever had the opportunity to explore and the perfect spot for a classy private event, or a wedding venue for a couple looking for something a little different.
Finally! Photographers who understand that using enough light isn’t against the law! These are beautiful images; thank you.
Great selection of images. Awesome work you two.
I would love to shoot here. Again, excellent work!
Dang that a serious spread! Great detail shots guys!!!
Wow… is it strictly a venue, or do they have a restaurant, too? This looks like an incredible place to spend an evening! The color coordination is crazy! Great detail shots… it almost reminds me of a castle – you never quite know what treasures you might find. You guys are good!
