Celina & James were married on a stunning Pacific Northwest day last fall. We had been looking forward to their wedding for nearly a year, and were so excited when it finally arrived! Not only is Swiftwater Cellars a gorgeous destination wedding venue, but we knew that this laid-back, fun, creative, and head over heels in love couple would be a blast to photograph on their wedding day.
We started off at Suncadia Lodge for their getting ready and first look pictures, and then made our way over to Swiftwater along with their hilarious and sweet wedding party. There were personalized details (the best details have meaning, IMHO) woven into their day – wooden signs made by Celina’s dad, cork placecard holders collected from family trips to Napa, a vintage window seating chart, and beautiful log centerpieces cut by a friend. Everything came together beautifully and complemented the warm, natural feel of their wedding venue.
Their celebration was also full of hilarious moments with the wedding party and the priest (yes, you read that right – they had an awesome and funny priest!), sweet and tender moments with friends and family (I love love love the photo of James and his sister hugging after the wedding), amazing toasts, and an unexpected quiet moment at the gazebo toward the end of the night. All in all, it was the perfect wedding day, and we were honored to be there to capture it them. Congratulations again, Celina & James!
