“Hang on, I’m going to pass the phone to…”

“Hello, who is this?”

Ashley may not have realized it at the time, but her best friend’s husband Mike had been telling his friend Steve all about Ashley, and with the toss of a phone, they had been introduced. At some point during their brief initial conversation, phone numbers were exchanged and it was off to the races from there. They weren’t even living in the same state at that point, but they knew that this was something special, and they found a way to make it work.

Steve and Ashley were married on a perfect, sunny day at Roche Harbor Resort this past June. It was a pretty incredible weekend, and there are some moments we won’t soon forget-

Driving out to the coastal cliffs for wedding day portraits and having killer whale pods breaching in the background. Weber, the most adorable “flower girl/puppy” ever leading the ring bearers down the aisle in pursuit of a pathway of treats. Steve and Ashley quietly signing the marriage license inside a quaint historic church. The wedding party discovering (and subsequently riding) a mechanical bull. And the thoughtful, loving, meaningful toasts of friends and family who thoroughly support Steve and Ashley in their love, marriage and life.
