Merion is sweet, artistic, and oozes happiness from her very being. Bagley is thoughtful, creative, and a bit of an old soul. They make a great pair – she stretches him outside of his comfort zone, and he provides grounding and stability. I love seeing that dynamic in a future husband and wife. šŸ™‚

When trying to decide on an engagement session location, Merion told us that one of her favorite places in all of Seattle is Seward Park. Since we had never been to Seward before (gasp), we enthusiastically agreed to photograph their session there. Little did we know that their session would take place on one of the nicest days Seattle had seen all year, so we had to get creative and find sections of the park where we could minimize the crowds. I’m so thankful that we did, because we ended up shooting in some areas that we might not have found otherwise, and the light was absolutely gorgeous!

We had a blast wandering in the old growth forest, playing with their puppy Whiskey, and swinging on the swings like little kids – apparently, Bagley is also young at heart. šŸ˜‰ We seriously love these two, and CANNOT wait to photograph their wedding at the Bloedel Reserve later this summer!
