Whew! It is the season of rainy engagement sessions! Thankfully, we have the best couples in the world who are willing to go with the flow and let the rain (quite literally) roll right off their backs. Merilee & Andy are the epitome of an easy-going, Northwest couple and we had a blast hanging out with them a few weeks ago. They first held hands while walking through Post Alley, so it seemed only fitting that we should return there for their engagement session. It was a busy Friday at the market, but we managed find some quiet spots where Andy & Merilee could simply focus on each other and the love they share. After the market, we headed to the Seattle Public Library, which is always a fun and inspiring place to shoot because of its architectural beauty and bold colors throughout. Not only that, but these two have a great sense of humor and kept us entertained throughout the session! 😉 Andy & Merilee, thank you for a wonderful afternoon–we loved capturing you and really enjoyed sharing food & conversation over Happy Hour too. You two are the best, and we can’t wait to photograph your wedding this August! ~The Popes
P.S. Thanks to Tiffany & Kellen for introducing us to Andy & Merilee. We love photographing friends of friends!
