Marena and Aaron’s wedding was pretty special for us, as I (Airika) have known Marena for almost as long as I’ve lived in Washington. Over the years I have seen her go through some true highs and lows in life, but what always stood out to me was that regardless of the situation, she had immense courage, would hold tightly to her faith, and put Christ first in her life. So, when we met Aaron for the first time a few months ago, and words can’t even begin to describe how happy I was. It was clear that he was a man who loved God first and foremost, valued family, friends and community, and on top of that, loved Marena more than she could have ever imagined. He was the perfect match for her.
Their wedding day was filled with beautiful details, and everything from Marena’s hair and makeup, to the setup and tear down of hundreds of handmade wedding decorations, to the long hours spent creating the perfect strawberry shortcake recipe, was evidence of the love that Aaron and Marena’s friends and family have for them. It was a wonderful to witness, and we feel so lucky to have not only been their wedding photographers, but to have been able to celebrate the day with them as friends.
Marena and Aaron, it’s clear that you two were meant for each other, and we cannot wait to see the amazing things God does in your lives! Thank you for trusting us to capture your day!
