Lane & Jason were married at one of our favorite venues, Cave B Winery, in eastern Washington. It doesn’t take more than a glance to see why we love it so much–even on a rainy fall day, the view of the Columbia River Gorge is unparalleled. I especially love this photo of Lane & her dad walking down the aisle–it’s not very often that you are able to capture the face of the groom, the guests, and an incredible view all in one photo!
Sometimes I just like to back up and take everything in. This one of the girls walking up the hill is one of my all-time personal favorites.
Lane brought some really cute boots for taking photos in the rain. I’m so glad she did because we had LOTS of rain that day. Isn’t she adorable?
Right after the ceremony, we were inside for the marriage license signing and noticed that the light coming in from the window was incredible portrait lighting. So, we thought we’d do a slightly more traditional serious portrait of Lane & Jason. I’m so pleased with how it turned out and love how different it is from all the other photos we captured that day!
One of the best things about Cave B Winery is that they actually grow all of their grapes their wines right there on the estate, so there are plenty of picturesque vineyard covering the property. It’s be-a-u-ti-ful.
What a wonderful day! Thank you, Lane & Jason, for asking us to be there and capture it for you, and thank you to Cave B Inn & Winery, Colleen Simpson Weddings & Events, and Kevin Kelly Events for helping to make their day run so smoothly! ~ The Popes
