We loved Kate & Joe from the moment that we met them – they are intelligent, have an affinity for great music, are intentional about investing in their friends and family, and have a case of wanderlust what rivals our own. Their wedding was a truly wonderful celebration that we were privileged to be a part of – JM Cellars is a gorgeous setting, their friends and family made us feel like we were a part of the clan, and we got to work alongside some of our favorite vendors in the Seattle area. All in all, it was a pretty sweet gig. 😉 While I could go on and on about all the things I enjoyed about their day, Kate summarized it so well that I’m just going to share her words:
Although we are casual Seattlelites and fond of plaid, we decided to spruce things up a bit and planned a semi-formal wedding in Woodinville at JM Cellars. We loved that we could plan a destination right here at home in such a gorgeous setting with an intimate group of family and friends. We wanted to celebrate the PNW with our food and drink, so we served crabcakes and salmon from Herban Feast, a dry rosé by JM Cellars, and we gave our guests Fran’s Salted Caramels as favors. Our design was natural and organic, with greenery and natural wood tones mixed in with grey accents, and we created our escort cards out of corks from my parent’s winery in Texas, Westcave Cellars.
Kate & Joe – you know we love you, and we are so thankful that not only have had the chance to capture your wedding, but we can also now call you friends.
