Whew! If you can’t tell by our long silence, wedding season has taken The Popes by storm! All of the weddings we’ve photographed so far have been wonderful, and we truly can’t wait to share them with you here in the next few weeks.
Today, we have a few of our favorite photos from a recent rehearsal dinner at Duck Soup Inn on San Juan Island. We love photographing rehearsal dinners, especially for destination weddings, because it gives us a chance to get to know all of the family and close friends in a relaxed environment before the next day’s events. This couple’s rehearsal was no exception–their guests were all so warm and friendly, and the beautiful plates and decor presented by the award winning Duck Soup Inn were delightful.

Ahhhh! The Duck Soup!! Gosh. We ate there the last night of our big tour-de-Washington in ’09 and after dining on pb&j sandwiches and oatmeal, camping for a week – it was divine in every way. Such an idyllic little setting too 🙂 This brings back great memories – thanks!!
