Like many of you, our hearts have been breaking for the people of Japan. We’ve seen video footage, photos, and read stories of terror and stories of people coming together to help each other in the midst of this disaster. We have friends who live in Sendai. Thankfully, they were unharmed by the earthquake and tsunami, but now they are trying to figure out whether or not they should evacuate due to the potential nuclear meltdown. Please pray for them, and for all of the people who have been affected by this disaster.
We have to help. If you follow us on Facebook, you may already know that we are donating 100% of all of our print proceeds through this weekend to disaster relief. All you need to do is place an order through your event’s gallery before this coming Sunday night. If your event has expired and you’d like us to re-release it, just send me an email and we’d be happy to do that for you.
We are also working on creating a gallery of our personal work, which we will be selling to raise funds. This is the first time that most of our work has been made available for purchase, and all of the proceeds for the first two weeks it is online will be sent to disaster relief. You can pre-register here to receive an email as soon as the gallery is ready for viewing.
Finally, we just heard about a group of wedding bloggers that is taking a vow of silence tomorrow in order to raise funds for the people of Japan. It’s a pretty cool project and you can learn more about it on the For Japan With Love website.
We are so incredibly blessed, and it is a joy to be able to share what we have with others. We hope that you will join us. ~The Popes
