Austen & Emily were so excited to have their engagement photos taken that they weren’t about to let a little bit of Pacific Northwest rain get in their way! They drove all the way down from Bellingham for the occasion, and we had fun afternoon together ducking in and out of the rain and wind! We started out in the picturesque Bellevue Park, then headed into Kirkland for coffee at Zoka Roaster (where the baristas gave them an engagement gift!) before finishing out their session by down by Lake Washington. We absolutely loved watching these two interact–they aren’t afraid to be goofy and laugh together, and the love & respect that they have for each other is inspiring. It was a constant reminder of why we love being wedding photographers! Austen & Emily, we feel blessed to know you, and can’t wait to capture the rest of your story at the Bellingham Golf & Country Club this September!

WOW – their emotions are captured wonderfully!!
To the Popes: After viewing Emily’s and Austen’s pictures, I can see why they chose you to record their special day. You have a way of capturing the essence of who they are, and it shines through in the photos. Your talent and passion for your profession is evident in the quality of work. It will be difficult to choose just one for myself!
Love the colors in these, and the absolute feel of being in the Northwest!
Emily & Austen,
Your pictures are wonderful! So full of life and love and fun! I am so happy for both of you, you take such delight in each other’s company. My blessings to you as you begin your journey together! I love you!
