Discovery Park | Seattle Engagement | Jacquelyn & Kurt

Engagements

Jacquelyn and Kurt met one night when a group of friends decided to go out for some 80’s dancing. Jackie didn’t know any of the guys that were coming along, so her friend gave her quick introductions, and even categorized them for her as single, engaged, or practically engaged. Apparently there was a little bit of a misunderstanding because Jackie started off the evening thinking Kurt was engaged. You can imagine her confusion when he kept finding his way toward her on the dance floor, no fiance in sight! Thankfully she figured it out, and the rest is well, history.

We really had a great time with these two shooting at Discovery Park. There’s just a never ending supply of beautiful places to shoot in the fields and forests there. While we were out exploring with them, we came across an amazing tree, and I simply couldn’t resist climbing it to find a unique angle. I know this always makes Airika extremely nervous, but it’s one of my favorite things to do when I get the chance! As you will see, it resulted in a pretty amazing photo, so I think it was worth the risk. 🙂

Jackie & Kurt, we have loved getting to know you over the past few months, and we cannot wait to photograph your wedding this September!
